Rock Star Cowboys: The Honeymoon (McLendon Family 4) Page 2
“Five minutes to paradise, lady and gentlemen,” Ricco said over the inflight headsets as the chopper banked smoothly to the right. Breezy squeezed his hand tighter as they approached, but the pilot gave her a reassuring pep talk. As smooth as a balloon ride, the chopper lowered onto the beach in front of a large outdoor pavilion where several of the island’s staff were waiting. Just as Ricco promised, they didn’t feel the first bump and Breezy released a long, relieved breath.
“Who’s the best pilot?” Ricco asked and tossed her a flirty wink.
Breezy blushed and thanked him with a hug once they were on solid ground. “Can we hire you to fly us home?”
“Good afternoon, Mrs. McLendon,” an older native woman said as she approached them on the beach. “Mr. McLendon,” she nodded at Carson and offered her hand before doing the same with Connor. “My name is Leanne. I will be your concierge for the duration of your stay here.”
Two younger men joined them on the beach and were introduced before they unloaded their luggage from the chopper. “Juro and Lanny will take your luggage to your cabana. Would you like some refreshments or a rest before we give you a quick tour of the island?”
Carson looked to Breezy and found her staring out over the deserted beach. “Where are all the people?” she asked. “Is this the off season?”
“We’re the only ones here,” Connor explained. “Except for the staff.”
She glanced over the rim of her sunglasses at Carson, then back to Connor. “You rented the whole island?”
“I thought we explained.” Carson shrugged.
“You said we were going to an island,” Breezy said, turning to take in the stretch of empty beach to their other side. “Not that we would be the only ones here.”
“Are you okay with that?” Connor asked, glancing up at him with genuine concern.
“Are you kidding me?” Breezy chuckled. “This is...I don’t have the words to describe how I feel right now.”
Carson’s heart dropped. They’d planned this trip for three months. The most important thing to them all was their privacy. He and Connor both had wanted to be able to make love to her wherever, whenever they wanted without the threat of being watched or photographed, and they both knew from experience how timid she was about the press.
“It’s the most amazing honeymoon I could have ever imagined,” she shrieked as she jumped into Carson’s arms and kissed him. “I love you,” she said before tackling Connor. “I love you like crazy!”
His relief evident in his laugh, Connor twirled Breezy around before he set her back on her feet. “We love you too, baby.”
Carson watched as Connor kissed her, long and lazily, and realized how close he came to never having them in his life. Maybe it was his family’s screwed up genes, maybe it was being raised in a poly family, maybe he was just twisted, but seeing the woman he loved, loving and being loved by his twin, fulfilled him in a way nothing else ever had.
Carson glanced over at Leanne to find her waiting patiently for them to finish, a polite smile on her lips; no judgement in her eyes. He loved Belize already.
When Connor finally released her, Breezy turned four shades of pink when she remembered that they weren’t alone. Carson prayed she never lost that innocence. He could no longer remember any of the faces of the women he’d been with in his past, but none of them had ever blushed the way she did. She was a walking aphrodisiac and it was going to be hard as hell to keep his hands off her for the next few hours.
“I’ll show you to the main house where you can freshen up and rest for a bit if you like,” Leanne said with a warm smile, ignoring Breezy’s embarrassment as she led them from the beach.
“Oh wow!” Inside their cabana, Breezy rushed from their sides over to the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living area that boasted a wide view of the ocean just beyond.
“If you prefer an unobstructed ocean breeze, the windows slide away into the pocket at the end,” Leanne advised as she pointed to the opening at the end of the track. “I can have them opened for you now if you’d like.”
“Oh yes please,” Breezy said with excitement.
“Whenever you need anything, day or night, you can request it through this,” Leanne said as she handed Carson a tablet. He took it and glanced down at all the service apps listed on the home page. “Every service we offer is available to you with a click of a button. Your personal staff will receive a notification of your request and respond timely.”
“Look, they have massages, darlin’.” Thinking that it might help her relax and rest, he didn’t hesitate to suggest it.
“That would be phenomenal,” Breezy said with a dreamy sigh.
“I will arrange for our masseuse to meet you now if you’d like. It would be a most relaxing way to begin your stay here,” Leanne said, opening the in-suite massage app. “You have a list of preferences.” She showed Breezy and Carson the dropdown box for her to choose the type and duration of massage and the scents of the oils used. Breezy perused the list and tapped one.
“Nice choice, Mrs. McLendon.” Leanne closed the app. “Georgianna should be here within twenty minutes.”
“That’s it?” Connor asked.
“That’s it,” Leanne confirmed with a practiced smile. “Should you find that something you’d like is not on the list of services provided, please do not hesitate to ask. You can message me anytime with the messenger app, here.” She pointed to the messenger icon that looked the same as the one on his phone. “We will always do our best to accommodate your wishes.”
“Look, baby.” Connor pointed at the buffet table behind the white leather sofa. “Pineapple, your favorite.”
He plucked a chunk of fresh cut pineapple from the display and walked it over to Breezy, popping it into her mouth with a most seductive tease. She tongued the fruit, sucking on the tip of Connor’s finger before he pulled his hand away. What the heck was he doing? They were supposed to be toning things down for cryin’ out loud.
“Oh my gosh, that’s so good.”
“Your personal chef, Nagala, was chosen specifically for you based on the questionnaire you filled out during your reservation process,” Leanne advised. “Dinner and lunch will be served each day at the pavilion on the beach, unless otherwise requested. Breakfast will be served in your cabana at a time of your choosing, and of course if you require anything in between, all you have to do is ask.”
“I’m never going to want to leave,” Connor said as he strolled across the large room and stepped through an open doorway at the far end. “Holy shit! Car, get in here.”
He and Breezy shared a questioning glance before they rushed into the room. Breezy gasped. Carson’s dick sprang to attention as he took in the trampoline-sized circular bed suspended three feet off the floor like a huge swing, curtained off like a teepee by white mesh and lace.
“Oh, you are in so much trouble,” he said, wrapping his arm around Breezy’s waist and pulling her against him to hide his instant hard-on. He pressed his hips against her backside and she pressed back, her hands grasping his thighs and pulling him closer. Good Lord in heaven, this is not helping!
The pained look on Connor’s face mirrored his own. Their ‘hands off Breezy’ plan was circling the drain fast.
“Your private bath is just off here.” Leanne breezed through the room and opened another door. Carson reluctantly let Breezy go and they followed her down the tiled steps into a private outdoor enclave with slate walls covered in thick ivy. Leanne flipped a switch and water sluiced from an alcove above them, turning the room into an outdoor shower that resembled a waterfall in the rainforest. “There’s a steam room to your right,” she pointed to another small door at the end of the enclosure. “And a whirlpool bath in the corner.”
“Oh my God, Con. I think you’re right.’ Breezy sighed as she walked over to the tiled tub big enough for five. “I don’t think I’ll ever want to leave.”
Carson swallowed hard as visions of Breezy standin
g naked beneath the waterfall taunted his now painfully erect cock. The only person he wanted to leave was Leanne.
“I’ll leave you three to settle in and get comfortable,” Leanne said, as if reading his thoughts. If he looked half as desperate as he felt, she probably had. “Georgiana should join you momentarily.”
The massage! Why had he suggested a massage?
“Thank you,” Breezy said with another dreamy sigh before Leanne dismissed herself. “This place is astounding. I can’t wait for that massage.”
Connor gave him another look of resigned disappointment. They would wait. They had to.
“Are you sure you don’t want to have one with me?” Breezy sidled up to Connor and fingered the buttons on his shirt. “We can all get oily together.”
“Na, we’re good,” Connor choked out. This hard and worked up, the two of them would never survive a massage. “We’ll check out the island for an hour and let you get all loosened up for later.” His brows bounced with mischievous suggestion, drawing out one of her flirty giggles that drove Carson closer to the edge.
Chapter Three
“See you in a bit.” Connor fisted the lapels of Breezy’s plush white robe and drew her into a parting kiss as the masseuse arrived. Knowing that she was naked underneath tested his resolve, but he managed to let her go and joined Carson outside on the deck.
“This isn’t going to work,” Carson said as he toed off his shoes and peeled off his shirt. “I need to go for a cold swim or something.”
“Good idea.” Connor followed suit, tossing his shirt over the bamboo railing.
Sprinting through the white sand, they reached the calm surf and dove head first into the waves. The cool water rushed over Connor’s heated skin like a soothing balm, both calming and invigorating him. When he surfaced beside his twin, he could have sworn he saw steam rising from the water around them.
“I don’t know what I was thinking!” Connor said, giving his head a shake to dispel the fresh, salty water from his hair. “I can’t get that bed out of my head, bro.” The things that had run through his mind...it was the perfect height for so many positions. Add in the swinging element and he’d nearly swallowed his tongue.
“No shit,” Carson said. “I was ten seconds from detonation when I saw that shower.”
“I was ten seconds away from cancelling that massage,” Connor chuckled. He didn’t know what had come over him, but from the second they landed on the island, everywhere he looked provided an erotic fantasy that stoked his desire to be inside their wife. Their wife. There wasn’t a more meaningful combination of two other words in the English language.
“And what the hell was up with the pineapple?” Carson asked, shoving a wall of water at Connor’s face. “You weren’t helping things with the whole ‘suck my finger’ scene.”
“You’re an ass!” Connor spit and sputtered as he splashed him back. “I couldn’t help myself.”
Carson tackled him, swiping his legs out from under him and shoving him beneath the water. They wrestled in the waves, pulling and shoving to best each other until they both gave up, laughing and breathless.
Once he caught his breath, Carson leaned back in the water and floated in the waves. Connor did the same, watching his twin.
“What?” Carson asked him after an awkward silence.
Connor shook his head. “We’re married,” he said, unable to contain his shameless grin. “To the same amazing woman.”
Carson’s smile mirrored his own. “Believe me, bro, I’m as stunned as you.”
“I’m not shocked, not in the way you think.” Shocked wasn’t exactly the right word, not when it came to Breezy. “I always knew we were meant to share a wife, but there was a time when I almost gave up.” He glanced back at the beach, and then back to Carson, determined not to sound like a sappy pussy. “Having my best friend back,” he said, swallowing the emotion his thoughts had provoked, “it’s been the second best part of everything that’s happened.”
“Aw, are you going to cry?” Carson teased.
“Shut the fuck up, man.” Connor splashed him again. “I’m serious.”
The night he’d decided to walk out on his brother and their dreams had been the most horrible night of his life. He had no idea how he would have survived, or where he’d be right now if things hadn’t happened the way they did. He certainly wouldn’t be on a private island, beginning the honeymoon of a lifetime with the woman of his dreams and his best friend.
Carson sobered and gave him a nod of understanding. “I know you are,” he said, swiping a wet hand over his face. “I’ve never said it before, but thanks for not giving up on me.”
Connor smiled. He’d never give up, on either of them. “C’mon. Let’s swim off some of this extra energy and then take our wife for a romantic walk on the beach.”
An hour later, he and Carson sat on the deck with a cold beer in their hands as Breezy showered and changed after her massage. Their swim had helped, but neither one of them were getting anywhere near a bed with her until they knew she was rested and ready.
“Oh my gosh, I feel so much better.”
At the sound of her voice, he and Carson turned around in their chairs. Breezy stood in the open doorway, her hair blowing in the wind. Her cheeks were rosy, her smile as warm as ever. As beautiful as she was, he’d be a liar if he said those things were the first his eyes were drawn to when he’d turned around.
Encased in the twin triangles of her electric blue bikini top, her breasts were full and plump. Connor’s mouth flooded with saliva as her nipples hardened into visible peaks beneath the revealing fabric. One inch. All he had to do was hook his finger under the thin string and move it one inch, and he’d be in heaven. He couldn’t believe she’d ever been self-conscious about wearing a bikini.
“Well, I don’t have to ask if you like it.” She giggled and sashayed over to them, the matching wrap she wore around her hips parting to reveal her long, bare legs as she walked. “I was afraid you wouldn’t like anything I picked out after seeing me in that hideous yellow thong.”
“What yellow thong?” Carson asked, clearing his throat as she parted her legs and sank down into his lap. Connor stifled a laugh as his brother shifted helplessly in his seat, his dick no doubt as hard as his own.
“You know,” she teased, running her finger along the side of Carson’s neck, “we don’t have to go for a walk right now.”
“We don’t?” Carson’s question came out as a helpless whimper. She shifted in his lap, pushing up on her knees until her breasts were within that glorious inch of his twin’s mouth.
“Just a quick walk,” Connor suggested, offering Carson a much needed lifeline. “I hear there are dolphins in the cove just around the bend in the beach.”
“Dolphins?”
That did the trick. “C’mon. Let’s go check them out.” Connor took her hand and helped her from Carson’s lap, ignoring the frustrated scowl on his twin’s face as he peeled himself out of the chair.
Much to Breezy’s delight, there had been a pod of dolphins in the cove, and when they’d returned for dinner, Leanne had agreed to arrange for a swim and snorkeling trip with them for the next afternoon. Breezy was ecstatic. Just seeing her smile did funny things to his heart.
Their walk along the beach had been just the distraction he and Carson needed, but as the sun set, the island came alive. Sounds of birds, monkeys and crickets all competed with the sounds of the lazy waves lapping at the shore. Coupled with the soft, warm breeze, it was impossible not to be relaxed, or aroused. Everywhere he looked he saw an opportunity to take his wife and bury himself in her sweet body. He tamped down his raging libido. It was just one night. He could control himself for that long to give her some well needed rest.
A large bonfire was roaring in the center of the beach when they returned. Flickering flames from dozens of tiki torches lit their way to the dinner pavilion where they were served drinks and the most delicious seafood dinner he’d ever eaten.<

“What do the two of you want to do tomorrow morning before we go swimming with the dolphins?” Connor asked after he took his last bite of tart mango and key lime pie.
“I vote we take those sleek jet skis out for a spin,” Carson chimed in.
“Oh, that would be fun,” Breezy said before taking a long, deliberate sip of her wine. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but she’d seemed edgy since they’d sat down for dinner.
“Jet skis it is,” Connor said and raised his glass to hers.
She held his gaze as she took a sip, something wickedly calculating flashing in her eyes. It was gone before he could put a name to it, but his groin tightened in response to whatever encrypted message she was sending.
“We can go to the mainland in a day or two, maybe see some of the Mayan ruins, or go zip-lining in the rain forest.” Carson tossed his napkin on his plate and collapsed back into his chair. “There’s also a cool cave with a waterfall we can climb.”
Breezy studied them for a moment, her gaze drifting between them before she shook her head, a wicked grin pulling at her lips. She set her glass down on the table and stood, a little wobbly on her legs. Had she had too much wine? She reached over and took his hand, pulling him to his feet before she did the same to Carson.
“Where are we going?” he asked as she led them through the sand toward the dock that jutted out over the water.
“You’ll see.”
At the end of the dock, a few hundred feet from the shore, was a large open platform lit with dozens of candles. In the center sat a king-sized bed littered with plush pillows and flower petals. Breezy stopped at the foot of the bed and turned around. With seductively slow intent, she lifted her hands and untied the strings to her bikini top, letting it flutter to the deck at her feet.
“I don’t know whose idea it was to not make love to me the second we arrived, but I want to set the record straight.” She loosened her wrap and it, too, fell away before she hooked her thumbs into her bikini bottom and pushed it down, kicking it to the side when it reached her bare feet. “I don’t want another massage. I don’t want to take another walk.” She grasped their hands and brought them up to her breasts, pressing them into their palms. “I don’t care about zip-lining or waterfalls or caves. We’re not leaving this bed until my husbands make love to me, together, right now, beneath the stars.”
